The Global Island Partnership will convene the first meeting of its GLISPA Council Members Meeting in Mallorca, Spain in the same week as the Smart Islands World Congress. The GLISPA Council brings together the 35+ GLISPA Members to review progress on implementation of the 2030 GLISPA Strategy and determine an action plan to galvanize momentum to achieve priority issues such as island leadership on climate, oceans and urban growth. Become a GLISPA Member and join our Council Members Meeting in Mallorca: GLISPA Members inspire and support each other to take action and produce results for island communities. Members benefit from being able to leverage the Partnership’s strong network of political leaders (heads of state, ministers, governors, ambassadors) who act as champions to leverage financial, political, and institutional support for island action. Connect and collaborate with partners from across political jurisdictions to support the implementation of commitments, the scaling of solutions, and to track progress in relation to the SDGs.
