Michael Booker is an Echols Scholar graduate of the University of Virginia, completing his B.A. in Foreign Affairs. The ocean has been an integral part of his life growing up on two barrier islands in the southeastern USA. Michael recently served as an American Peace Corps Volunteer in both the Federated States of Micronesia and the Kingdom of Tonga and has a passion for sustainable community development. In his free time, Michael loves to sail, kayak, and scuba dive.
